Publication Schedule

HAWARI: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama dan Keagamaan Islam, published by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, Indonesia, is published twice a year, with regular issues released in: First Issue (June), Second Issue (December)

Each issue publishes original scholarly articles in the fields of Islamic religious education and Islamic religious studies that have successfully completed the journal's editorial assessment, peer-review process, and publication requirements. The number of articles published in each issue depends on editorial quality standards and the availability of manuscripts that meet the journal's publication criteria.

1. Submission Schedule

Manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year via the HAWARI online submission system. Authors are not required to wait for a specific submission period to submit their manuscripts.

Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication in an upcoming issue according to the journal's publication calendar, editorial workflow, completion of revisions, copyediting, production readiness, and available issue capacity.

2. Editorial and Review Timeline

HAWARI: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama dan Keagamaan Islam aims to conduct the editorial assessment and peer-review process efficiently while maintaining appropriate standards of academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and research integrity.

The duration of the editorial and review process may vary depending on the scope and complexity of the manuscript, reviewer availability, the number and extent of revision rounds, the responsiveness of the authors, and the overall editorial workload.

Authors are expected to respond to editorial decisions and reviewer comments within the timeframe specified by the editorial team.

The duration of the review process does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication in a particular issue. Publication decisions are based on the results of peer review, editorial evaluation, scholarly contributions, and compliance with the journal's requirements.

3. Publication Scheduling

After acceptance, manuscripts proceed through the journal's production stages, which may include copyediting, proofreading, layout preparation, metadata verification, and final publication approval.

The assignment of an accepted article to a particular issue is determined by the editorial team based on publication readiness, the journal's publication schedule, and available issue capacity.

Acceptance of a manuscript does not automatically guarantee publication in the immediately following issue. The editorial team will determine the appropriate publication issue in accordance with the journal's editorial workflow and publication schedule.

4. Commitment to Publication Quality and Consistency

HAWARI is committed to maintaining a consistent publication schedule while upholding the principles of transparency, academic integrity, research ethics, and scholarly publishing excellence.

The journal prioritizes the scientific quality and relevance of manuscripts over publication volume. All manuscripts must satisfy the journal's editorial and ethical requirements before being considered for publication.

Any significant changes to the publication schedule will be communicated through the journal's official website to ensure transparency for authors, reviewers, and readers.
