Authorship Criteria

To qualify as an author of a manuscript submitted to HAWARI, an individual must fulfill all four of the following criteria:

1. Substantial Intellectual Contribution: Making significant contributions to the conception or design of the study, or to the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of research data.

2. Manuscript Preparation and Critical Review: Participating in drafting the manuscript or critically reviewing its intellectual content to ensure scientific quality, accuracy, and academic relevance.

3. Final Approval: Reviewing and approving the final version of the manuscript before its submission and publication.

4. Accountability and Responsibility: Agreeing to take responsibility for all aspects of the work and ensuring that concerns regarding the accuracy, integrity, or validity of any part of the research are appropriately investigated and resolved.

All individuals who meet these criteria must be recognized as authors. Conversely, individuals who do not fulfill all four criteria should not be listed as authors but may be acknowledged for their contributions.
